The market of catalysts is continuously growing in volume and value. Platinum  and  Rhodium (Platinum Group Metals) are widely used as catalyst in several key sectors: energy and pure gases production, oil refinement, air pollution control, automotive catalysts. The European Community and the US Government  have launched programs to substitute PGMs as these metals play a critical role in the development of western countries.

QID is a nanotechnology company focused on nanomaterials replacing PGMs in catalysis. With over 15 PhDs on board, QID has a unique team of physicists and chemists applying hedge technologies to tailor catalysts with higher longevity and efficiency for each chemical reaction.

QID is a private company with headquarters in Vicenza and labs in Trieste and Strasbourg. QID has established a network of collaborations with US and European nanotech companies and research labs, offering hedge instruments, infrastructure and know-how.
